Rock Songwriters on the Move

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In decades past, rock n' roll’s greatest songwriters would write almost exclusively for their own bands and projects. These days, many of the most successful writers in rock are branching out. This panel traces the journeys of Deryck Whibley and John Feldmann, both of whom earned fame and acclaim with rock bands, and now wear songwriter, producer and industry executive hats. They’ll discuss how the nature of rock songwriting has changed, and what that means for all of the aspiring guitar heroes of today.
