Know Your Placement: Music Publishing in Film, TV and Beyond

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Getting your music in film, TV and other audio-visual media can offer a major payday. This panel, booked in conjunction with the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), focuses on the publisher side of the A/V licensing equation. You’ll hear the honest truth about pitching songs and getting placements from the publishers who do it every day. They’ll explain the process of nabbing a placement in film, TV, video games and more, and offer their unique perspective on how the economics of A/V licensing have changed in recent years. And of course, they’ll offer wisdom on how best to approach music supervisors with your own music.
