Marissa Rose is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist in the pop/rock genre from San Diego, California. Her songs are motivated by a desire to share her experiences and hopes on life, love, and family in a way that her listeners can understand and connect to.

Marissa's first EP "Hero" was released in February 2014. The first full album is currently in progress, and will include re-recordings of all songs in the "Hero" EP, as well as new originals such as "Broken Crowns" and "Let it Burn".

Since her start, Marissa Rose has played in a variety of venues such as The House of Blues, The San Diego County Fair, and the famous Whisky A Go Go located in Hollywood.

Marissa is lucky to play with amazing artists such as Tim Staump (drums), Dan Scott (bass), Wes Haskell (guitar/keyboard), Rachel Bradford (guitar/backup vocals), and Jon Schriener (lead guitar).

In her spare time, Marissa Rose is a music instructor at Staump Music School, located in Santee, CA. She teaches a variety of students in vocals, piano, guitar, and drums, as well as being the Director of the East County Youth Choir.
