Ashley Gorley is an award-winning songwriter and publisher in Nashville, Tennessee. Recently, Gorley was named 2014 ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, 2014 NSAI Songwriter of the Year, and 2013 Billboard Country Writer of the Year. He also won Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year honors at the 2009 ASCAP Country Awards, as well as ACM Single of the Year for “You’re Gonna Miss This,” by Trace Adkins. He has also been nominated for ACM, CMA, and Grammy awards for Song and Songwriter of the Year. Gorley has written sixteen number one singles and has over two hundred songs recorded by artists such as Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, George Straight, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, and Trace Adkins. Writers for Gorley’s publishing venture, Taperoom Music, have had their songs recorded by artists including Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Randy Houser, and Joe Nichols. So far they have celebrated three top ten singles and one number one single. Ashley Gorley has been a member of ASCAP for all fifteen years of his writing career.
