After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Buffy headed west to jump start her career in the music industry and quickly landed a job as Client Services Manager at Hollywood’s Record Plant Studios, working directly under President Rose Mann-Cherny, before joining Ron Fair at Geffen Records as A&R Coordinator. She went on to join Jon Platt at EMI and then Warner Chappell as Creative Coordinator. Following Warner Chappell, Hubelbank served as Creative Director, Urban & Pop A&R at Pulse Recording, working with hit songwriters such as Bonnie McKee, Raja Kumari, and JR Rotem. In the fall of 2014, Hubelbank was appointed Creative Director of Publishing for Red Bull Records. In this role she works with the Red Bull Records’ artist roster including the chart-topping AWOLNATION and UK breakthrough band Twin Atlantic, Beartooth, Blitz Kids, Five Knives, Heaven’s Basement, Itch and New Beat Fund. She also oversees Red Bull Publishing’s writers John Feldmann (5 Seconds of Summer, Panic! At the Disco) and Mark Maxwell (Afrojack, Lindsey Stirling.) Through her career Hubelbank has been involved in the creative process with artists such as Mary J Blige, Fall Out Boy, Knife Party, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, Keyshia Cole, Sirah, Orianthi, & Queen Latifah.
