Greg Kurstin is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has had his hand in many hits over the last decade, including Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)”, P!nk’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”, Ellie Goulding’s “Burn”, Lily Allen’s “The Fear” and Sia’s “Chandelier”.

A Los Angeles native, Greg is an accomplished jazz pianist, having spent many years playing with jazz legends and as a sideman, playing for and collaborating with Bobby Hutcherson, Beck and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.  Greg is one half of the indie pop duo the bird and the bee. 

Earlier this year, Greg received his second Producer Of The Year (Non-Classical) Grammy nomination for producing Sia’s1000 Forms Of Fear, Kelly Clarkson’s Christmas album Wrapped In Red, and songs for Lykke Li (“Gunshot”), Lana Del Rey (“Money Power Glory”), Katy Perry (“Double Rainbow”) and Ellie Goulding “Beating Heart”.  He also picked up a nomination for Record Of The Year for production and engineering duties on “Chandelier”.


Greg also scored the major motion picture Annie as well as serving as the film’s Executive Music Producer, producing and updating many of the musical’s classic songs as well as writing new ones with Sia.  Greg has most recently been working on new material with such artists as Kelly Clarkson, John Newman, Ellie Goulding, Sia and Years and Years, to name a few.the bird and the bee will be releasing their new album Recreational Love this Summer.
