Producer and songwriter Jesse Shatkin, has had an incredible year.  Jesse was nominated for two Grammy awards including “Song Of The Year” and “Record Of The Year” for co-writing and co-producing Sia’s breakout hit “Chandelier.”  Besides the nominations, Jesse has had his fingerprints on new tunes by Kelly Clarkson (“Invincible” and “Take You High” off of her forth-coming album Piece By Piece), Matt and Kim (the duo’s single currently blowing up Alt radio, “Get It”) and Milo Greene (the band’s new record Control).

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jesse moved to NYC after high school and immersed himself in the city’s underground hip hop world.  There he worked with artists such as Jean Grae, Murs and El-P, while also honing his engineering skills at the famed Electric Ladyland Studios.  A few years ago, Jesse moved back to LA and created music for movie trailers and commercials before becoming a recording  engineer for hit-maker Greg Kurstin.  Working alongside Kurstin allowed him to further develop his own writing and production skills and soon Jesse signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV.    Jesse has most recently been in the studio with Sia, Kylie Minogue, Murs, Robert Delong, Brooke Candy & Eden XO, to name a few.
