Mike Reid was a footbal All-American Outland Trophy winner at Penn State and an All-Pro defensive tackle with the Cincinnati Bengals. Since moving to Nashville in 1980, Reid’s songs have been recorded by such acclaimed popular performers as Tim McGraw (“Everywhere”), Bonnie Raitt (“I Can’t Make You Love Me”), Ronnie Milsap (“Stranger in My House” and “Lost in the Fifties Tonight”), Collin Raye and Bette Midler (“In This Life”), Don Williams, Billy Dean, Josh Turner (“I Wouldn’t Be a Man”), Wynonna Judd ("To Be Loved By You"), Anita Baker, Leon Russell, George Michael, Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Nettles, Alabama, The Judds, Randy Travis and many others. He is a Grammy award-winner, and has been named ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year. In 2005, Reid was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
