Paul Kersh in his role as Head of Marketing And Strategy for the Vans Warped Tour is responsible for overseeing digital, mobile and social media marketing initiatives for the Vans Warped Tour which in it’s 21st year is the longest running traveling alternative music festival in the United States. Paul led the efforts to onboard the tour onto leading social network outlets including Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook where the brand has recently surpassed 1.75 million followers. Other top initiatives led forth under his watch were the introduction of the tour apps on the Android and IOS platforms which in the past year saw a combined 190,000 downloads and in 2014 the largest Warped live webcast to date that drew over 130,000 live viewers and just closed in on over 5 million VOD views on YouTube. Prior to this position, Paul held marketing positions in the fast casual and manga publishing fields as well as at Vans Shoes where in 2001 he transitioned into a role as the first new media marketing employee at the company.
