Steve Nalbert

Round Hill Music
Director, Creative Licensing

Steve heads up Round Hill’s Synchronization Licensing department and handles pitching for a wide range of Film, TV, Video Game, and Advertising clients.  While at Round Hill, he has successfully landed synchs for a variety of artists, writers, and catalog copyrights, including The Beatles, American Authors, Spacehog, Bronze Radio Return, The Griswolds, Graveyard Lovers, Mason Brothers, and Young Rising Sons.  Prior to Round Hill, he worked at BMG Rights Management, Cherry Lane Music Publishing and ASCAP.  During his tenure at BMG, Steve was instrumental in one of the company’s largest growth periods from a synch (creative and licensing) perspective.  Steve’s most recent role at BMG involved managing international creative and licensing.  This role involved the licensing and promotion of U.S.-based artists and writers to BMG’s foreign offices and sub-publishers.  At BMG, one of Steve’s unique responsibilities was to present and explore ways of introducing and integrating European-based artists and songwriters into the U.S. market.  Additionally, Steve developed a synch and licensing presence for BMG in Canada by opening direct relations with the local Film, TV, Video Game, and Advertising agencies.  Aside from Music Publishing, Steve is a songwriter/producer and has had songs used in a number of television programs.  He has also worked in music supervision on a few films including 2012’s In Our Nature. Steve is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a bachelor's degree in Music Business.
