Tina Guo has developed an international multi-faceted performance and recording career as a cellist, electric cellist, erhuist, and composer known for her distinctive sound, mastery in a wide range of genres, and improvisatory style in major motion picture, television, and game scores. She has toured the world as a featured soloist on the Michael Jackson The Immoral World Tour by Cirque du Soleil (topping the charts for 2 years as the highest grossing tour in America) on the electric cello, toured as a classical soloist with symphonies worldwide, as a featured guest with Al Di Meola, and live in concert with Hans Zimmer, and the Foo Fighters. Tina has been the soloist on hundreds of scores, as well as on countless albums. The "Tina Guo Sample Library by Cinesamples" was recently released, and an album of original music for licensing is available from APM called Tina Guo: Artist Series. Tina is the co-founder of MG Music Int'l, a production company in partnership with her husband, composer and director R. Armando Morabito, that specializes in hybrid cinematic music. MG Music has provided music for the 2014 Mercedes S-Class Video, Call of Duty: Ghosts MTX 4, the official launch trailer for ArchAge A Way Home, WWE, NHL, Fox Sports, PGA, and more. Tina performs on her Gand & Bernadel Cello made in Paris, France in 1880. On electric cello, she plays a customized Yamaha SVC-210 as a Yamaha Performing Artist. Tina also plays an Erhu made in Shanghai, China.
